If the mating was successful Roskva will be whelping somewhere around May 10. And we are so excited about the combination! Hopefully everything works out as planned and we will welcome puppies after:

So we had a lovely visitor from kennel Husstølen from the south of Norway three weeks back and now I find time to update with some lovely photos we took. Some of them are taken by me and some of them are taken by Hilde Bjaanes Ims.
Hilde was here to mate her beautiful girl «Tessa» Kathstone’s Fantasy Grace with our «Pablo» No Se Ch Allfirdas Pablo Picasso. Tessa is Rime’s half sister, they are both daughters of Siprex Dana in two different litters she had. Aren’t they beautiful?
We tried to take ‘a couple photo’ of the two lovebirds, but Pablo had other interests that day than standing still next to the lady for photos. So we had no luck in getting the ‘perfect’ photo shot of them together. In stead we also brought Rimes daughter Pippi to the photoshoot and had some nice pics of those three together.
Every time I do a photoshoot I keep telling myself I have to practice on learning the dogs to stand still for the photographer and every time we forget to do that when we’re done. Normally they are used to standing still with me on the side and not in the front of them. Guess I have to practice for real soon to make beautiful still photos of them.
We at lest got a head shot of Pablo that day.

Allfirdas Annie Oakley was the last one from the Outlaw litter to leave home. We actually thought she would stay here, but sometimes you just have to let go. Fortunately she is moving to a show home in Sweden and we hope to see her in the show ring in the future. We will miss this little sweet girl for sure. ❤

I år kan vi ikke skryte på oss noen plass på årslistene. Men med knapt 4 utstillinger (og et par valpeshow) på hele året skal det vel litt til, selv med BTK/BHK-plasseringer på både Rime, Pil og Roskva. Vi minnes heller året på andre måter i år. 2019 vil dessverre heller ikke romme mange utstillinger for vår del, men vi har planer om å komme sterkere tilbake når tiden er moden for det.

Denne gangen var det tid for å introdusere Hjortehunden vår Inga (Undimoon Monna) til utstillingens verden. Vi hadde på forhånd bare vært på en ustillingstrening og det å jobbe med Hjortehund har jeg merket er veldig forskjellig fra whippet, så vi var på forhånd veldig spent.
Inga tok hele settingen med knusende ro, og synes ikke det var noe å bry seg så mye om og oppførte seg eksemplarisk.
God kritikk fikk hun også. Dommer for dagen var Vigdis Nymark.
Best i rase med HP (hederspremie) og 2.Best i gruppe.

Pablo og Zelda debuterte i sin første konkurranse på Nasjonal prøve på Sona lørdag 29.september. Vi er ikke de mest aktive innen sporten, men prøver å få med oss de konkurransene som arrangeres lokalt i det minste. Da er det ekstra gøy at hundene gjør meget gode løp og blir premiert for det.
No Se Uch Allfirdas Pablo Picasso ledet etter første omgang, men ble slått av makkeren i andre omgang. De endte til slutt opp med samme poengsum, 87,75. Pablo ble dermed 2.beste hannhund i Internasjonal Klasse og fikk sitt første LC-Cert. Det var 6 deltakende hunder i klassen denne dagen.
No Uch Allfirdas Zelda lå på 7.plass etter første omgang, men løp seg opp til en 5.plass i andre omgang, av 13 deltakende tisper i Internasjonal Klasse.

The rest of the pack didn’t get any placement in their classes. 194 whippets where attending the show this weekend and we had strong competition in every class.
