Ingen Hjortisvalper

Denne gangen hadde vi ikke hellet med oss. Inga gikk tom etter høstens parring. Vi kommer til å prøve på nytt ved neste løpetid våren 2022. Fingers crossed ❤

Hjertesjekk og løpetid

20.oktober fikk Inga og Pippi reise til Stjørdal Smådyrklinikk for en hjertesjekk hos Kardiolog Per Jørgen Engum.
Begge har flotte hjerter og med løpetiden begynt på begge to, håper vi nå at ikke alt krasjer med når de paringsklare. Det skal litt til å få reist to steder samtidig, så vi får håpe at de har ulik ståtidspunkt.

ABBA-kullet født

Den 24.juli på kvelden fødte Abba sine 7 små på bare 2 1/2 time. Førstemann valgte å komme med bakbena først og som første valp gjennom fødselskanalen kan det være utfordrende, men når han først var ute kom de på rekke og rad lett som en plett. 7 sterke, flotte, livskraftige små, hvorav 2 hanner og 5 tisper. Bortsett fra en litt mindre (men langt fra liten) tispe, var fødselsvekten jevn og fin på hele gjengen.

Far er Se Uch Mac Bells Karat Black Streak til daglig kalt Lian. Han bor i Söderkøping i Sverige og er også far til vårt Astrid Lindgrenkull og Allfirdas Pippi Langstrømpe som vi beholdte fra det kullet.
Mor er Undimoon Cassiopeia som som kommer fra kennelen Undimoon på Gotland. Det er på grunn av sin svenske opprinnelse at hun fikk kallenavnet Abba i det daglige, og for å følge opp tråden har vi nå valgt at tema for dette kullet er ABBA-sanger – selv om vi strengt tatt ikke tilhører den genren når det gjelder musikksmak.

Vi har for øyeblikket en ledig hann fra dette kullet og ønsker oss primært et utstillingshjem, helst i Trøndelagsområdet. Så får tiden vise om det lar seg gjøre 🙂

Jubilé litter

So we’ve named the puppies 

We have so much to celebrate this year so it is natural for us to give the puppies Jubilé-names together with GOT-places-names.

1. We celebrate 10 years anniversary for our Kennel
2. We celebrate 10 years anniversary of our marriage
3. We celebrate 15 years anniversary for our relationship
4. We celebrate 5 years anniversary for our GOT-litter
5. We celebrate the release of the last/8 season of GOT

So we present our litter born May 12. with the following names:

Puppies expected

Or at least we hope so.
If the mating was successful Roskva will be whelping somewhere around May 10. And we are so excited about the combination! Hopefully everything works out as planned and we will welcome puppies after:

Visitors from south of Norway

So we had a lovely visitor from kennel Husstølen from the south of Norway three weeks back and now I find time to update with some lovely photos we took. Some of them are taken by me and some of them are taken by Hilde Bjaanes Ims.

Hilde was here to mate her beautiful girl «Tessa» Kathstone’s Fantasy Grace with our «Pablo» No Se Ch Allfirdas Pablo Picasso. Tessa is Rime’s half sister, they are both daughters of Siprex Dana in two different litters she had. Aren’t they beautiful?

We tried to take ‘a couple photo’ of the two lovebirds, but Pablo had other interests that day than standing still next to the lady for photos. So we had no luck in getting the ‘perfect’ photo shot of them together. In stead we also brought Rimes daughter Pippi to the photoshoot and had some nice pics of those three together.

Every time I do a photoshoot I keep telling myself I have to practice on learning the dogs to stand still for the photographer and every time we forget to do that when we’re done. Normally they are used to standing still with me on the side and not in the front of them. Guess I have to practice for real soon to make beautiful still photos of them.

We at lest got a head shot of Pablo that day.
